Adding button to existing remote

Adding button to existing remote

Postby stevo » Tue Dec 20, 2011 9:46 am

Hi guys,

First off thanks to those who have designed remotes, my fav is http://jumitech.com/skins/WMC%20by%20Co ... miTAP.jumi

However because I record a lot of TV I would love a record button otherwise for me its perfect. I don't have any pc knowledge so the instructions confuse me a fair bit

Secondly is there a way to get rid of the ads? I don't mind paying to support the app.

I would also pay for this app if it had no ads.

I believe the paid version has no ads.

Install JumiOne on your iOS, and it should be in-app purchases.
Open a "Free ad-supported" function (eg. JumiMouse), and it should pop up an ad to purchase the full version.

Although I do not know if JumiRemote has a paid version or not...

Well, it would appear not. The Remote is listed ubder the free apps and I seee no paid version, at least not that I can find.
I am working on getting to to connect to a computer that has no internet access and am having some problems.

If it is a desktop with only wired networking then you're out of luck...unless you have a wireless router.
If it is a laptop then you could try creating an ad-hoc network. (https://www.jumitech.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=654)

Thanks,
It is a desktop and has a wired connection to a wireless router and it works fine. I expect to use this on my boat where the remote I created will be used to perform functions on my navigation software. The boat computer has wireless but no connection to the ethernet (most of the time). I was wondering if the remote would even start on such a computer (as it can't access the internet to get the ads). After some experimenting here at home it appears that it will (the space for the adds just remains blank) and I will try it with the boat computer in a few days.

Thanks again
Ron
