COMMON ROUTER CONFIGURATION

Read This First
  1. In the JumiController settings, uncheck "Try enabling remote access automatically". Then save & shut down JumiController
  2. Follow the instructions below for your router, or if your exact router model is not listed, just use one that has similar entries to what you see in your router.
  3. Restart your router when finished, and run JumiController
note - if you need to know your computer IP, it appears on your JumiController (internal IP)


Linksys WRT54G or WRT54GS
  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.1.1 ) the default username and password is 'admin'
  • Click the 'Security' link
  • Make sure the 'Block Anonymous Internet Requests' checkbox is not checked.
  • Click 'Save Settings'
  • Click 'Applications & Gaming' link
  • Click 'Port Range Forward'
  • Fill an entry with the following fields:
    • Application: Jumi   |   Start: 5720   |   End: 5720   |   Protocol: BOTH
    • IP Address: your PC's internal IP address
    • Enable: checked
  • Click Save Settings
Linksys WRT110
  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.1.1 ) the default username is blank and password is 'admin'
  • Click 'Applications & Gaming' link
  • Click 'Single port forwarding' link
  • Fill an entry with the following fields:
    • Application Name: Jumi   |   external port: 5720   |   internal port: 5720   |   Protocol: BOTH
    • IP Address: your PC's internal IP address
    • Enable: checked
  • Click Save Settings
Linksys WRT160N-V3  or WRT310N
  • Set up a static IP by following this guide: http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm
  • Login to your router ( http://192.168.1.1 ) the default username is blank and password is 'admin'
  • Click 'Applications & Gaming' link
  • Click 'Single port forwarding' link
  • Fill an entry with the following fields:
  • Application Name: Jumi   |   external port: 5720   |   internal port: 5720   |   Protocol: BOTH
  • IP Address: your PC's internal IP address (you see it in JumiController's panel)
  • Enable: checked
  • Click Save Settings
Linksys WRT320N
  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.2.1 )
  • the default username and password is 'admin'
  • click 'Applications & Gaming'
  • click 'Single Port Forwarding'
  • Use the following settings:
    • Application name: Jumi   |   External Port: 5720   |   Internal Port: 5720   |   Protocol: Both
    • To IP Address: your PC's IP address (the big IP on the controller)
    • Enabled: YES
Motorola 3347

  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.0.1 )
  • click 'Advanced Setup' -->  'Configure' --> 'NAT'
  • click the 'Define Custom Service' button
  • select 'Port Forwarding: Range of Ports' and click 'Next' button
  • Enter the following entries:
    • Service Name: Jumi TCP   |   Global port range: 5720 - 5720   |   Base host port: 5720
    • Protocol: TCP
  • click 'Next' --> 'Done'
  • On the NAT page, select the service 'Jumi TCP' on the service Name list, and the 'Enable' button
  • Select your computer from the 'Select host device' drop down menu, and click the 'Enable' button.
  • now repeat the process with these entries;
    • Service Name: Jumi UDP   |   Global port range: 5720 - 5720   |   Base host port: 5720
    • Protocol: UDP
    • (dont forget to select 'Jumi UDP' this time)

Netgear CG814WG

  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.0.1), the default username/password is 'comcast' and '1234', or 'admin' and 'password'
  • Click the 'Feature setup' link on the top right
  • Click 'Port Configuration'
  • Add the following entry:
    • Application Name: Jumi
    • Port range: 5720 to 5720   |   Protocol: Both
    • IP Address: your PC's IP address 
    • Enable: YES (check)
  • Click 'Apply'
Sceintific Atlanda Webstar EPC2434
  • set up a static ip for your computer. here's how: http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm (skip the add if it shows)
  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://10.100.31.1 )
  • Click the Port Forwarding link near the center of the page
  • Enter the following entries into the Advanced Settings - Port Forwarding
  •  Local IP Address: your PC's IP address (the internal IP on Jumicontroller which should be the same as the static IP that you set up)
  • Start Port: 5720  |  End Port: 5720  |  Protocol: both  |  Enabled: Yes
  • Click apply
Siemens SE366

  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.2.1 ) the default password is 'admin'
  • click 'Advanced Settings' --> 'Internet'
  • click 'Port forwarding' in the 'Address Translation (NAT)' menu
  • add the following entries:
    • Protocol: TCP   |   Public port: 5720   |   Local port: 5720
    • Local IP address: your PC's IP address
    • Enabled 'check'
  • click the 'Add' button
  • now fill another entry with the following settings:
    • Protocol: UCP   |   Public port: 5720   |   Local port: 5720
    • Local IP address: your PC's IP address
    • Enabled 'check'
  • click the 'Add' button
  • click the 'OK' button
SpeedTouch 510v4.0
  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://10.0.0.318), the default username and password are blank (empty)
  • Click 'Advanced', and in the menu that opens, click 'NAPT'
  • In the NAPT properties, enter the following settings:
    • Protocol: TCP   |   Inside IP: your internal IP  |  Outside IP:  your external IP
    • Inside Port: 5720   |   Outside Port: 5720
  • click 'Apply'
  • now repeat this process again, but now select 'UDP' in the Protocol field.
  • click 'Apply'
  • Now click 'Save Settings' on the left.

SpeedTouch585
  • Login to your router using your browser (typically http://192.168.1.254), the default User Name for your router is 'Administrator' and the password is empty
  • Click 'Toolbox'  on the left
  • Click 'Game & Application Sharing' link
  • Click 'Create a New game or application' link
  • at the name field write 'Jumi'
  • select the 'Manual Entry of Port Maps'  radio box
  • Click the 'Next' button
  • Fill the entries with these values:
    • Protocol: Any   |   Port Range: 5720 to 5720   |   Translate to: 5720
    • Trigger Protocol: Any   |   Trigger Port:   
    • click 'Add' button
  • Click the 'Assign a game or application to a local network device' link at the bottom of the page
  • in the Game or Application frame, you see 2 list boxes, Choose 'Jumi' on the left box, and your PC on the right box. then click the 'Add' button.
